about

Cement Tea had a mad trajectory since his first release in 2016, becoming a well-known name in the harder electronic music scene, with releases on labels like Viral Conspiracy, Doomcore Records, Fujimi Industry, plus many others, and his tracks being dropped by plenty of DJs around the globe in their sets.
In case you are unfamilar with his works, his trademark sound is that he combines vast influences from genres like IDM, Breakcore, Rhythmic Noise, Dark Ambient - just to name a few - into his own brand of Industrial and Hardcore Techno.
And this is what we have here on this album. Piercing, distorted drums, walls of noises and sounds, haunting ambience in the background... wrapped up in a brutal Techno package.
This release is especially heavy and headstrong. Full power to the pounding bass and the screaming high frequencies. Mental Hardcore food.

The album starts at a slower pace, to raise the tempo as the tracks go on, leading towards Speedcore, to be concluded by remixes of earlier Cement Tea tracks (at a slower pace again).
This should give you a good picture of what to expect here. Apart from all the merits I mentioned already, what sets the album apart from other releases for me is the use of atmospheric and ambient sounds, that feel not forced but authentic, and that give the tracks a very unique mood; they mend together with the sheer harshness of the beats and noises, to create a complex whole.
Another thing are the top notch production values in these tracks, that neither feel cheap and lo-fi, nor overproduced and "too much".

Simply powerful!
