Cement Tea is a brazilian experimental music producer. Active since 2015, he worked under different aliases (Unicode Dreamer, Triple Discharge) exploring fields of electronic music such as ambient, IDM, hard techno, drum n' bass, jungle etc.
Lophiiformes was composed during a personal moment of distress in the artist's life, a period of alienation and isolation, when he mentioned feeling like an anglerfish and losing connection with other people. The album itself reflects the consequences of all this, being perhaps the most personal and grimiest achievement in his career. There's a very pure feeling of angst during this record distinct mix of thrilling dark ambient and eerie beats.
